Solaavis

Sola Avis is a singer, composer and lyricist. She gained her musical skills while studying at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. It was then that she discovered her talent for songwriting, and the knowledge and skills obtained there enabled the artist to consciously approach the creative process. This experience also initiated cooperation with local artists and music producers. This resulted in two albums released in English. The first album “3 Bottles of Champagne” was a collection of light, charming jazz and pop tunes referring to the 1950s Hollywood glamour. As part of the promotional campaign, the artist then appeared on local London radio stations Orla.fm and NuSound radio. Despite the mainly retro nature of the entire album, it also included a typically contemporary song titled “Chasing the wind”. It was this song that enjoyed the greatest popularity, reaching the fourth position on the popular chart of independent artists in Great Britain, run by UK Tourdates. This gave the artist an impulse to create another album, this time clearly in Pop/Rock style. The album “Denial” is a collection of 10 songs about life’s ups and downs, love, breakups and overcoming obstacles. Working on this album made the singer realise that rock music is a genre in which she feels best. This resulted in the creation of a rock band with which Sola performed in clubs in London and the surrounding area, concentrating her professional and artistic life there for a longer period of time.

Sola has recently returned to Poland and is currently working on new material with the band.
